Valerie for Model Number DLE2514W My dryer powers on but will only give me a humming buzzing sound when I press start. Prior to this if I pulled some clothes out before a cycle ended and tried to start it again it wouldn't start until it completely cooled down. How do I figure out which part I need. I have a multimeter but not sure how to use it.
Answer Valerie, You will want to check to see if the drum is rotating properly by hand, there will be a little resistance but should turn easily. If this checks ok then look for something stuck in the blower wheel. Also check for anything that may be causing it to bind.
