Gail A for Model Number LG DLG2203W GAS DRYER My gas dryer is not heating up its tumbling just not getting hot. I read the manual and troubleshot the problem. The circuit breaker and fuse are good. After looking for parts for dryer all I see is an ignition part that heats the dryer. Is this the part I might need? The manual doesn't give information on how and what you might need to repair it. Answer Gail, You will want to turn the dryer on and check to see if the igniter comes on. If the igniter comes on and the unit lights but then quickly goes out then the gas coils would most likely be the cause.
