Laurie for Model Number LRFC25750ST Hi, Our 14 year old fridge now shows the error code dh. I tried unplugging it but the code returned. The freezer works but not the fridge. Do you think replacing the defrost heater is enough or should we replace the sensor as well? What is the likelihood that it’s the control board? Please indicate part numbers. Thank you
Answer Laurie, the issue may lie in the defrost fuse/sensor assembly 6615JB2005H or the heater 5300JK1005K. The fuse can be tested for continuity and should show continuity if it is working properly. The defrost heater can be tested for continuity to check if it has an open circuit. If the heater does not show continuity, then it would need to be replaced. Read More...
