Don for Model Number dle5977w Hi. After using it for several hours straight, my LG dryer stopped producing heat. First I changed the Thermostat. Nope. Then I changed the Hi-Limit Thermostat. That fixed the problem, but for only one load of laundry. Again, no heat. I read on your site that the Hi-Limit Thermostat is now re-settable. Is there something I need to do to re-set it? Should I replace a different part? Thanks.

If the thermal has tripped again then you will want to make sure that the venting from the blower wheel of the unit to the outside of the home is clean. A clogged vent system will cause the part to fail. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, May 15, 2014
