Michael, as the valve is sold as the full assembly AJU73753101, it would be recommended that every part is used. The fill tube would need to be thawed out, which is usually safest with hot water being sprayed onto the ice, so that the ice does not rip any insulation when removing the tubing.

Michael, At this point, you just need to replace the water inlet valve AJU73753101 Valve Assembly, Water. The replacement valve also includes the water supply tube to the icemaker so you won't have to thaw out the line, but plan on lowering/removing the icemaker to ease the repair process.
