Steve for Model Number Kenmore Elite 795.72053.110 Ice Maker stopped dumping ice. Replaced the unit and still not dumping ice. Had service technician come out and said the new ice maker was defective and everything else was good. Ordered and installed the 2nd new unit and still not dumping ice. What are the odds that both of the 2 replacement units are bad? Should I try a 3rd new unit or is there something else that could be wrong (controller board)? Very frustrating and expensive and still no dumping ice. Any insight would be appreciated. Original and replacement units were AEQ73110205.
Answer Steve, It is highly unlikely that 2 icemakers would come in faulty. If the icemaker is filling with water but not dumping the ice then this will most likely be an issue with the control board on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 19, 2018
