Juan for Model Number LG Refigerator Model GM L268FSXP My refrigerator was bought in 2014. In 2016 the icemaker stopped making ice. The tech guy came, tried the test button and it did not respond, so he unplugged the unit, plugged it again, and it started working again. Six to eight months later, it stopped again. I followed the same steps I’d saw, and restarted the unit disconnecting it and reconnecting it back. I observed this procedure worked only if I took the icemaker off the fridge for several hours. By doing this, I’ve been able to making it work again several times during some weeks everytime. I’ve been doing this procedure for the last 6 months, but is annoying and for sure, I shouldn’t need to do it. What could be the problem?
Answer Juan, This issue will most likely be caused by a faulty main icemaker on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 15, 2018
