Vlad for Model Number WM2277HW When I start up my washing machine, it manages to start pouring water in. It only poured water in for maybe 5 seconds and then immediately shuts off giving me a CE error code. Since it is only 5 seconds, the rotor doesn't even have time to start to turn cycle. We did smell a bit of plastic smell not long before it broke down on us. I have took apart the machine, checked the motherboard for any signs of short circuiting or burns and there is none. I cannot find that any wires are fried as well and there are no visible leaks whatsoever. I have taken off the rotor and the stator and everything looked good as new. The barrel also turns very easily by hand and there is no obstruction. My only guess is that the motherboard maybe fried? What could be throwing this CE error code?
Answer Vlad, The CE error code indicates a over current error which would be caused by a main control board or the winding in the stator is shorted. Since it happens so rapidly the main control board would be the issue. The part number is 6871ER1003C. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, October 1, 2014
