Pvillemd for Model Number WM2277HW Hello, I'm getting the LE code on our LG WM2277HW washer. I put the machine into service mode and ran the first spin test. The display shows 0 rpm. I've tested the ohms between the three terminal connections at the motor and all read 7.5ohms. Also, I've tested the other side of the terminals coming from the control board and they are all around 0 volts (AC) while the machine is running in test spin mode indicating (I think) that the main board is bad? I have not replaced the motor position sensor yet, but since there is no voltage coming from the board, my guess is to replace the board first, correct? I've already removed the board and it is stamped 6871EC1087C on one sticker and the actual board has 6870EC9113A-1 printed on it. Can you let me know if you agree with my diagnosis, and if you think it's the control board as well, give me the compatible boards available? Thanks!
Answer PvilleMD, For this issue you would want to check the motor and the RPS sensor. If you look on the tech sheet you will want to do the testing for the LE error code. This will guide you to which part has failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 9, 2018
