M I have a wave force LG top loading washer model # WT5101H. The center wave wash plate completely came off. I cleaned it and placed it back on the screw but it came off again. The washer does not wash it just stays in load sensing mode and filling. It will rinse and spin. It also has made a scraping noise at times when washing. Thank you for your help.
Answer M, you may want to check the pressure sensor, hose, and tub connection of the pressure hose for any signs of improper operation. The hose would need to be checked for any clogs, as well as the tub connection of the pressure hose, as this can cause the unit to not sense the water fill. In regards to the screw coming loose, you will want to use blue loctite to correct it from coming loose. For the scraping noise, you will want to identify the location that it is coming from. If it is coming from the basket and outer tub section, there is possibly debris in there causing the scraping which can influence the sensing of the unit. If the scraping is coming from the motor section, then there may be damage or debris on the rotor 4413EA1004D or stator 4417EA1002K. Read More...
