Bill for Model Number LG LRSC26940ST My water dispenser continually drips water. I'm pretty sure I just have a valve leaking by that needs to be replaced but I'm not sure which one it is. Can you tell me if the main water valve is the one with three coils that controls water to the dispenser? Thanks, Bill
Answer Hello Bill, The three stage valve 5221JA2006D you are referring to is the correct valve for your unit. If you have changed the water filter 5231JA2006F recently, you may not have purged all of the air out of it. In case this is the case, you should throw away at least 2 gallons of water to rid the water dispense system of all air. If air is in the system, the water valve will not close properly. Read More...
