Wayne P. for Model Number lfx25980st First of all thank you Wayne P for your reply. I will call and order the parts one more question was not answered can I do this job myself? If so do I start from the inside and work my way out or does some out side parts just pop off? Thank you so much I don't mean to be trouble. GOD BLESS
Answer Hi Wayne. We applaud all DIY'ers because of their spirit to complete the task . Possibly tape off 1st with masking tape on the corners , around the front of the unit at hand. With safety and goal focused, you will be able to remove the "layers" of the fountain controls to access the part replacement. You will start from the glass "spill catcher" on the bottom of the fountain controls. After removal of this, it will expose 2-screws to remove the fountain controls. Then you lift up on the controls being very carefull as not to scratch the front of the door. Possibly tape off 1st with masking tape on the corners , around the front of the unit. Then you remove inner panels until you access your spring needed part # is 4970JA3011C. Make sure that you mark all exact location of the wires for proper reassembly. Assemble in reverse. Thank you.
