Tom October 14, 2019 for Model Number LFX25960TT I've ordered the new Flap door for my LFX25960TT model LG refrigerator ice door dispenser thinking that the plastic lever came with the door flap. It did not. Looking at the manual I do not see a part number for the lever itself. I can get the spring for the lever and the solenoid which draws the lever up and down to open the flap but not the lever. The lever plastic hook has broken off and is the only part that need to be replaced. Can you assist with getting the lever part number please? Thank you Tom
1 Answer Tom, Based on your post information, you would need to order the 5007JA3006R / 5007JA3006R Ice Chute Door Assembly. The assembly consists of the door, lever(with the hook) and the door flap heater/wires. There is also a "how-to" repair video attached to the parts diagram screen, so you'll have a better idea of the repair process/procedure. Thanks, Read More...
Jared July 05, 2019 for Model Number LG LFX25971st My ice machine works perfectly fine. However, I can not get the door to open on its own to dispense the ice out of the dispenser. I have to use my finger to open up the flap to allow the ice to come out. What is the exact part number that I need. I feel it is the spring that is only needing to be replaced?
1 Answer Jared, The lever spring part number is 4970JA3011C and the solenoid part number is 6421JB2002R Read More...
Jason April 15, 2019 for Model Number LFX25975ST The flapper door on my LFX25975ST ice machine doesn't close. It seems like the spring is broken or missing. I can find the replacement spring on your site but no instructions for removing the ice maker trim to access the spring and flapper door. There are many other models with instructions but not mine. Prying on the trim ring feels like it will bend or break. Are instructions to remove the trim available for this model?
1 Answer Jason, you will want to use a putty knife to remove the case as there are clips that hold it in place. The easiest location to start with the putty knife is the top right hand corner and work your way clockwise to release the panel from the door cavity. Read More...
Srinivasan September 22, 2018 for Model Number LSC27931ST My LG Refrigerator some time ice dispenser flip door not closing properly. What parts are need to replace. and Best way to accesses to the part. please provide with part no and availability. Thanks.
1 Answer Srinivasan, To access the dispenser parts you would remove the drip tray and push down on the bottom with your hand and pull out to pop the trim free. This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty solenoid which is part number 6421JB2002R. Read More...
Ron June 05, 2017 for Model Number LSC27910TT The ice flap will not open to let ice out. Seems like the spring has too much tension because the flap works fine when manually manipulated. The ice just cannot overpower the spring. Before buying a new spring I want to be reasonably sure that the problem is caused by a spring with too much tension. What else could cause this problem. Thank you.
1 Answer Ron, This issue would most likely not be caused by the spring but would be more of an issue with either the dispenser solenoid 6421JB2002R or the door arm that has broken which would be part number ABN32648401. Read More...
Al March 10, 2015 for Model Number 795.710.32.010 Same question that I saw for a couple of others-- just a different model number. The spring at the bottom on the left door flapper broke. Can you tell me the part number to fix it for this model ? And, is this a reasonably simple do-it-yourself repair ? Thanks,
1 Answer Al, The part number for the plate assembly for your unit is AGU74110902. To install you will open the other one like when the door is closed and in the center there is a screw. Remove the screw and lift up on the plate and it will come off. Disconnect the harness and install the new one. Read More...
Martin P September 29, 2014 for Model Number lfx25976st I have a problem with the door mullion spring on the LG refrigerator P# (4970JA3011C) original replacement part (# MHY62044103LG) was way to big (width). Broke the small cover that goes over this spring in the installation. I understand the original spring part has been replaced by Rev K of the original part # (4970JA3011C) >K I'll need to order both the new part (rev K) and the small cover, but I can't find the cover Part #. Thanks in advance for your efforts. Sincerely, Martin P
1 Answer Martin, Unfortunately the little cover piece is not a separate part and you would need to get the mullion AGU75188619. Read More...
Mark September 19, 2014 for Model Number LRSC26915SW I purchased part 5007ja3006r and 4970ja3011K. I was wondering if there is a particular way I am suppose to put the spring on to where it will keep the door shut. How does the spring get put on to where it is tight and working? Do I have to wind the spring up one rotation or anything?
1 Answer Mark, The spring will slide on the arm and you will have to twist the sprint around so that one flat part is against the top of the dispenser section and the other part is against the back wall. Read More...
