David N for Model Number WM2277HB The washer shakes quite a bit. It has not always been like this. I have checked the level of the washer. I have recently replaced the bearings, the spider and the shocks. It still shakes, but not throughout every part of the wash. I should mention that I do have a plastic pan underneath the washer in event of a leak (washer is on the 2nd story). Do you recommend a new stator assembly?
Answer David, The stator or rotor could be missing but normally you would see signs of a broken magnet on them. If this is not the case then it would likely be just off balance loads. While it did not do this previously it could also be caused by a floor that is allowing a little more give to it which will cause this unit to become unbalanced. Read More...
