Mark for Model Number LG WM2487HWM I am replacing the tub bearings for the second time. This set lasted maybe 2-3 yrs. This time the bearings trashed with oil and debris accumulating on the stator. What is the best way to clean the stator. Thanks!
Answer Hello Mark, Since the stator windings are encased with a type of enamel to insulate them from neighboring windings, it is not recommended to clean them with anything other than compressed air. If they are contaminated with oil, it would be advisable to replace the stator assembly 4417EA1002H. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
