Joel Metzler for Model Number WM2277HS We have been getting the LE code on our washer for the past few weeks. We did some of the fixes suggested on this site and others such as, unplugging for 5 minutes, spinning the drum a few times, checking all the connections, replacing the sensor & then today we placed the motor assembly. However, all have failed. I read somewhere a couple weeks ago that the LE code could be because of a problem with the seal of the door. Well, I did notice that every time I did a load of laundry there would be some water that ran out from the bottom of the door in the middle and leave a little puddle of water on the floor. Not much, about 3 tablespoons or so. Could this be the cause for the LE code. I just want this thing fixed. The laundry mat is getting old! Help! Thanks!
Answer Joel, The LE error code would not be caused by a leak of the door or anything to do with the door on the unit. This issue would be caused by the things that you have replaced already, a wiring issue or a faulty control board. Since you have already replaced the motor on the unit you will want to check the wiring between the main control and the motor to make sure that there are no damaged wires. If the wiring checks ok then you will need to replace the control board. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, July 16, 2015
