Eric G. for Model Number WM2501HVA My LG front loading washing machine will not power on at all. Replaced the rotor assembly because I noticed the drum was slipping. When the new rotor came in I removed (still dripping we to) clothing from the washer and noticed the bolt securing the rotor to the drum was loose. Replaced the rotor and the machine would not power on at all. Ohm checked the fuse on the noise filter and found it was blown. Replaced noise filter and the machine still would not power on. I don't know where to go from here, looking at the old rotor and the magnets had some wear on them so I'm sure the rotor magnets contacted the stator. The stator has no visible signs of damage. Should I look at replacing the stator, the main control board, or is there other fuses that could be blown? Sorry for the long post, I wanted to give a complete history. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Answer Eric, With having a new noise filter on the unit, check to see if the main control board is getting power. If it is then the issue will be with the main control board having failed. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, August 20, 2015
