Eric C for Model Number lg wm2301hw Washer decided it would not spin, tub would not turn. when putting washer in drain/spin and hitting go, tub would shake a touch, then sit still for 60 seconds, the give LE code. I kicked it into diagnostic mode, ran through the modes, the tub was turning, but 'timer' showing 00 (bad hall sensor?) When it hit the full spin diagnostic, the washer shut down, and will not power back on. Tested, and filter (fuse) is bad. Tested resistance in rotor, and seeing 8.1 ohms (I've seen it should test between 7.4 and 7.8) -- I'm afraid when I put the new filter in (should be here tomorrow) it will just pop the fuse again.
Answer Hello Eric. The LE code is locked motor. The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY. • The electric contact between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable. • The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open circuited). • The hall sensor is out of order/defective.
