Al for Model Number LDF6920ST How do I tell if the sump assembly is the updated version? Tech manual inside of washer behind kick plate refers to this and a loose cap being a draining problem. Why would this be in print and the part not already installed? Sound like it should have been a recall. Instead hidden behind the kick plate. Tech had replaced the motor three times since new. Nothing ever changed. I could go on and on but just need to at this point check the cap.
Answer Al, the sump assembly would need to be disassembled from the top to inspect the drain port of the sump assembly. This will allow for inspecting if there are any issues in the sump assembly. If it checks good, then you would want to inspect the drain hose from the sump all the way to the drain port for any partial clogs. Read More...
