Bruce for Model Number LDS4821ST I followed your suggestions and even had a repair tech come out to diagnose my problem asked earlier (dishes are not getting cleaned and appears water is not going through the spray arms. The tech confirmed the water was not being forced up in the upper rack and recommened the sump assembly to be replaced. To save on labor I thought I would order part AP4447671 myself and attempt the repair. I flipped the dishwasher on it side and it looks pretty simple (hose and wire connections) but can't figure out how to get the existing motor pump assembly removed. I wanted to make sure I could handle it before I ordered the part. In reviewing other questions and answers, it appears I may NOT need to replace the entire sump assembly. Based on other users questions, do I only need part AP4438603 and not the entire sump assembly? Which parts specifically come with the sump assembly? Thanks!
