Matt A. for Model Number LFC21770**/LFC25770** While away on vacation our ice maker started leaking out the back and damaged some hardwood. The unit was still making ice, but would leak an amount of water every time that the unit asked for additional water. This seems like an issue with the supply valve not shutting off. If so, can this be replaced individually? Thanks
Answer Hello Matt, This sounds like a water line has a pinhole. You will need to pull the unit put and make sure that, when the icemaker fills, water is not leaking or spraying from a line. It is a common failure as is the water filter having a hairline crack. The water valve 5220JB2010A can be replaced individually. Read More...
