John W for Model Number LFC28768ST Ice cubes being made are not real smooth, and when cubes drop some water seems to spill on top, creating a large useless clump of cubes. Suspecting that water pressure was high I placed a valve in the water feed line to reduce flow but didn’t do any good. Is replacing the valve AP4444451 the probable solution, or perhaps is there some clog internally in the ice maker where just replacing the entire unit would be the fastest fix?
