Alexander for Model Number 795.71603.012 I replaced the water valve and water line from valve to icemaker after water was leaking from the back of the fridge (where the supply line enters the back of fridge. Ice maker seemed to be overfilling due to valve not closing quickly enough. New water solved problem. Immediately following this repair, I now have ice that smells and tastes bad. This is a short term rental, and there is no food in the fridge or freezer. The inside is very clean. Also this model does not have water filter. Any idea why the ice smells and tastes bad?
Answer Alexander, There should be nothing in the part that could cause this issue. The smell and or taste issue would be from the water or airborne source. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, February 20, 2024
