Bernard for Model Number LFC25760SW My refrigerator valve has two standard flat stacon connectors, but the valve I received has a plastic terminal connector. While there are 5 pictures of the valve on your website, none show the lead wires? Is there a conversion kit/terminal assembly available for this valve? If I cut off the plastic connector on the two wires and crimp on stacon connectors and thae valve is defective, can I still return it for a 100% refund? Standing by...
Answer Hi. After an extensive research of the water valve wiring connector issue, I find no service bulletin as of date. In the field I have modified a locator tab on the unit wire harness connector to allow the connector to be pushed on the terminal fully. This is the correct part for your model #. The terminals are the same width so they are not polarity sensitive. If you need to use stake on connectors, just make sure you only strip 3/8" wire back to be able to crimp properly and not allow any extra wire strands to hang out and have a elect. short. Use the pull wire strength test to see if the wire pulls back out of the crimped connector.
