Dany for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 I received a smart auto/heavy error code and replaced the ECS sensor part DD82-01118A when the unit was 2 years old. 6 months after replacing the sensor I received the same error code so I replaced the sensor again but it didn't fix the problem. Appliance Parts Pro sent another sensor thinking I may have received a faulty part but this did not fix the problem either. Based on reading the posts I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses and get another dishwasher or continue repairs. The control board replacement is quite expensive. Thanks!
Answer Dany, The ECS sensor would not be the issue with the unit. The Heavy/Smart Auto error is a over level water fill error and you will want to check the brake assembly to make sure that the switches and sensors are good.
