John April 18, 2020 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 Hello, my control panel won’t light up. I’ve verified I have power and power to T201. How can I test to see if power is getting to control panel from control board? Thinking one of the two is bad..
1 Answer John, at connection CN102 of the main control, pin 1 can be tested for 5VDC (with the red probe of a meter) to pin 6 (with the black probe). If there is 5VDC, then next step would be to identify if the main control is receiving a wake-up signal using the red probe at pin 5 when pressing the power on button. If the main control receives that signal, it should then send a 12VDC supply to the user panel at pin 2 (red probe used at this pin). If the voltages at the main control are there, the user panel control DD92-00037B has failed (or if a signal voltage is not sent to the main control). If there is not a correct voltage coming from the main control, the main control would need to be replaced. Read More...
Charlie January 31, 2020 for Model Number dW I get the same exact problem. The replacement came with three wires and now I get a water drain problem, the same as described here. My dishwasher started giving me the "smart auto" and "normal" blinking error. When looking into what the issue was I came across switching the ECS sensor (DD82-01118A). Upon receiving the parts I noticed the number of wires were not the same as the picture or the original ECS sensor on my dishwasher. The original part on my dishwasher has 4 wires (red, black, blue and white). The new part only has 3 (red, black and blue). I tried contacting Samsung directly and they said this is the correct part, but when I install it I get a new error code. With the new (3 wire ECS) the dishwasher will run for ~10 minutes until it gets to the drain cycle. It will drain 2-3 times then stop. I then get "Delicate" flash indicating a drain error. The unit drains fine though. There is no water left inside and it pumps fine. Am I missing something or is there another error I should be looking into? Scott for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA ANSWER Scott, the part DD82-01118A DD82-01118A should have 4 wires. The part number that you are inquiring about is the correct number for your model and the one shown on our listing has the 4 wires as you are describing for your original part. Was

Rlh February 26, 2019 I keep getting a 9E error on my Samsung DW80f800 dishwasher. I am reading that it could be the assy sensor ecs. How do I test the sensor to make sure it is bad before ordering a new one? Is their a resistance I can test with an ohm meter??
1 Answer RLH, the lower sensor and upper sensor both should read 10 kOhms. You may want to check the wiring to make sure that it is secured properly. Aside from that, the manufacturer recommendation for that error code is to replace the sensor assembly. Read More...

Carl Crull December 18, 2017 for Model Number Samsung DW80F600UTB/AA-0000 On any setting (Smart Auto, Normal or Heavy) the cycle starts but it drains first. Then it runs for a little while. then the Drain Error light flashes and it stops. The drain line is clear.
1 Answer Carl, You will want to check to see if it is draining and if it is not then check to make sure that the motor is getting 120 vac to it and if there is 120 vac to it then the issue will be a faulty drain pump. Also check to make sure that the float switch is resetting. Read More...
Bryan November 08, 2017 for Model Number DW80F600UTW SAMSUNG DISHWASHER The smart/auto light continuously blinks. Samsung suggested replacing the water inlet vale, did not work. Any suggestions? This is my second time to ask you guys. Please help. I will be ordering part as soon as i know what to order. No other light blinks. Just the smart auto.
1 Answer Bryan, With the valve having been replaced the most likely cause for this issue will be a faulty main control board. Read More...
Bryan November 07, 2017 for Model Number DW80F600UTW/AA-01 This is a Samsung dishwasher that has one light blinking. Smart auto wash light. No other light blinks. I have replaced the water inlet valve, to no avail. Any part suggestions? I have seen several where two lights are blinking simultaneously, but mine it the one light only....Any help appreciated.
1 Answer Bryan, With this issue this would be a water level error and will want to check the flow meter and if this checks ok then the issue will be a faulty main control board since the valve has been replaced. Read More...
Ricardo September 18, 2017 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 Went I start the dishwasher in a normal cycle sound like is going to start normal but after a 2 or 3 min smart auto and heavy lights start flashing and nothing else happened. Need help please thanks
1 Answer Ricardo, The smart auto and heavy lights flashing would mean an over level water error. You will want to check the flow meter, the water valve and if these check ok then the main board would be the issue. Read More...
Grant July 19, 2017 for Model Number DW80F800 I've been getting the 5E error code. I've replaced the the drain pump, cleaned the drain hose, and the garbage disposable, but still getting the 5E code. Ron N May 10, 2017 for Model Number Samsung DW80F600UTS/AA Hello. The issue I am having with my dishwasher is that during any wash cycle it stays on the first wash cycle. I have let it run for 3 hours and it never finishes. The outer temperature of the dishwasher is pretty hot and I am guessing it is because it has had hot water spraying in it for hours. I am not getting any fault codes or flashing indicators. It had the Main PCB and A/S ASSY-SENSOR ECS DW80 replaced about 2 years ago. (The machine was only 3 months old.) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Ron, With the unit not leaving the first wash cycle then this would be the most likely caused by a faulty main control board not allowing the unit to advance. Read More...
