Charlie for Model Number dW I get the same exact problem. The replacement came with three wires and now I get a water drain problem, the same as described here. My dishwasher started giving me the "smart auto" and "normal" blinking error. When looking into what the issue was I came across switching the ECS sensor (DD82-01118A). Upon receiving the parts I noticed the number of wires were not the same as the picture or the original ECS sensor on my dishwasher. The original part on my dishwasher has 4 wires (red, black, blue and white). The new part only has 3 (red, black and blue). I tried contacting Samsung directly and they said this is the correct part, but when I install it I get a new error code. With the new (3 wire ECS) the dishwasher will run for ~10 minutes until it gets to the drain cycle. It will drain 2-3 times then stop. I then get "Delicate" flash indicating a drain error. The unit drains fine though. There is no water left inside and it pumps fine. Am I missing something or is there another error I should be looking into?
