John for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 Hello, my control panel won’t light up. I’ve verified I have power and power to T201. How can I test to see if power is getting to control panel from control board? Thinking one of the two is bad..
Answer John, at connection CN102 of the main control, pin 1 can be tested for 5VDC (with the red probe of a meter) to pin 6 (with the black probe). If there is 5VDC, then next step would be to identify if the main control is receiving a wake-up signal using the red probe at pin 5 when pressing the power on button. If the main control receives that signal, it should then send a 12VDC supply to the user panel at pin 2 (red probe used at this pin). If the voltages at the main control are there, the user panel control DD92-00037B has failed (or if a signal voltage is not sent to the main control). If there is not a correct voltage coming from the main control, the main control would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, April 20, 2020
