Vicki for Model Number RF266AERS/XAA We purchased a Sub Cover Assembly in August of 2012 and now it is doing the same thing. What happens is the fan gets ice on it and makes a loud noise. When the door is open it will stop. My question is do we need a new sub cover or another part to correct this problem?
Answer Hello Vicki, You should look for an air leak around the door seals. This is a common problem and if you can locate the leak, it is normally resolved by heating the door seal with a hair dryer or by simply re-leveling the unit. Read More...
