T Smith for Model Number RF267AEPN/XAA-0000 Twin Cooling fan making noise. Believe it to be icing problem of Inner panel. May not be draining properly. Getting water pooling under meat compartment. Problem: I have been unable to remove this inner panel that houses the fan motor and other stuff. I was able to get flanges to pop and removed screws. Last 9" doesn't budge, right where fan is located. Is it frozen in place or something else?
Answer T. Smith, Yes this would likely be the case in which the fan is frozen in place and may have to let the unit thaw out to get the part loose. The only other option would be to yank it loose but take the risk of breaking the foam on the back side of the panel or damaging another part. Read More...
