Donny for Model Number Samsung RF263AERS Ice build up every 6-8 weeks in the summer (MN) where refrigerant line comes into the compartment. I know when to remove and defrost ice when the fan starts hitting the ice build up. Fan works fine. Been happening for several years and is worse in the summer months than Winter when it happens every several months. So with windows open and humidity in the house during summer would it be worth also replacing the door seals? I am thinking of just replacing the ASSY Cover (DA97-07190G) as my foam has taken a beating from removal 7-8x over the years. I hung a copper wire at bottom of defrost element years ago so I do not get ice build up on bottom anymore.
Answer Donny, It is my experience that the drain part # {AP4442156} is allowing moist air into refrigerator section causing ice build up.I believe there are two drains on this model possibly three one for freezer section, one for refrigerator section and one for ice maker drain.you can pull back cover off to know for sure.
