Gary for Model Number RF263AEBP/XAA After waiting 24 hours for all the ice to melt behind the Evaporator Assembly Cover, I confirmed my fan was working. I ordered the Temperature Sensor (DA32-00006S), replaced the old one, and put everything back together. It has been running well for 1 week now with the fridge at the proper temperature setting of 36 degrees. However, I noticed ice once again beginning to form on the lower part of the assembly cover. I'm thinking there is another sensor or part that might be bad, like the defroster? Any advice?
Answer Hello Gary, you may be having a freezing defrost drain tube problem, you can use this clip DA61-14306A for that, it attaches to the defrost heater and hangs down into the drain tube opening. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 5, 2020
