Brian for Model Number RS265LBBP/XAA-0000 Hello. Water keeps pooling in the bottom of my fridge and running onto the floor. Thinking the defrost drain hole was plugged or frozen I removed the rear panel to check. Drain hole was fine. While apart I checked the water reservoir. Reservoir was fine. Then I noticed water dripping from the "vent" behind the crisper drawer. The vent apparently runs through the back wall of the fridge to the upper section of the fridge. Could something be plugged or frozen in the upper section of the fridge and causing the water to run down the vent and pool in the bottom of the fridge?
Answer Brian, If there was a clog, or ice, or moisture in the cover/air tunnel, we would expect you to also have cooling complaints in the refrigerator. If that's not the case, then you would want to check for both the doors to close and seal properly, No large open containers, that could produce moisture or condensation in the refrigerator. You most likely, still have a clogged or restricted defrost drain tube. You may want to use a large diameter trim line from a weed wacker, or a trombone slide cleaner and make sure the drain tube is clear and lined up properly in the defrost drain pane, and then install a DA61-14306A Drain Clip to insure the drain hole remains open and doesn't clog with ice.
