Margaret for Model Number RF4267Hars/XAA Icemaker malfunctioned. Would fill, make ice but tray would get stuck and not drop ice. Bail arm would not drop. Got error code 39E. Replaced icemaker unit DA97-07365G. Same issue. Ice cubes stuck in tray. Will not drop. Error code 39E still. Water line is ok. Could this be anything to do with air duct coming from freezer? Or a faulty connection where the power harness fits?
Answer Margaret, the error 39E is going to reference the ice maker tray heater not functioning properly. As the ice maker has been replaced, the failure would likely either be a wire issue or a main control failure. The heater circuit can be tested to identify if it would be a wire issue. With the refrigerator power cord unplugged, the main control would need to be accessed and the wires at connection CN 70-1 would be tested from the black wire at pin 3 to the gray wire at pin 7 for 91O. If the resistance checks good, the failure is in the main control. If the resistance check shows an open circuit, the failure would be in a loose connection or a bad wire. Read More...
