Chris for Model Number RF4287HARS/XAA-01 Ok so my ice maker stopped making ice I replaced the ice maker twice with DA97-07365G, it works for a few days then stops, I replace the water supply to increase pressure. Water dispenses great still no ice. Replaced water valve DA97-07827B. All lines are clear and should be working fine. You can hear the Ice Maker making moaning sounds like it trying to do something but still no ice. Taking suggestion on the direction to go now. Please help.
Answer Chris, it would be recommended that the water valve is tested for 120 VAC when the ice maker reset button is pressed. Near the end of the reset cycle, the valve should receive voltage. If the voltage does not reach the valve, it would be likely that the main control DA41-00684A is not properly operating. If voltage does reach the valve, it is possible that there is a frozen section in the ice maker line where it is not readily visible. Another factor that can affect the ice maker operation is the temperature set for the freezer. If the freezer temperature is set lower than 0°F, it can affect the ice maker operating properly.
