Bob for Model Number DA97-07365A We have an ice maker problem. Our symptom is ice cubes are freezing to molds inside the ice maker and not dumping into the ice tray below. We suspected the heating element that slightly heats the base during the transfer cycle has failed. When we read across the element with the thermal fuse in-line using a continuity tester, it reads as an open circuit (no tone). However, when we read across the thermal fuse, it reads as good, (both continuity tone and "0" ohms). When we read across the heating element with an ohm meter, we get 90.2 ohms. Is this a correct reading of resistance for the element? If not, can the element be replaced? Can you think of any other cause for this symptom? Thank you in advance for any insights you may have.
