Brandi for Model Number RF23J9011SR/AA The ice maker quit working so I ordered part DA97-13718C the assay ice maker and installed it. Now neither the water or ice works. Did I break something or is it a bad part?
Answer Brandi, if the ice maker was installed while the appliance power cord was plugged into the wall outlet, it is possible that the main control could have been damaged. If unplugging the power cord for 5 minutes and then plugging it back in does not correct the issue, the main control would need to be replaced (based on water flow from the water dispenser being good before the repair).
