Jerry for Model Number RF24R7201SG/AA MY MODEL HAS A TEST BUTTON ON THE FRONT RIGHT TOP OF MYICE MAKER. I CHECKED THE MANUAL AND IT SAID IF YOU PRESS THE TEST BUTTON YOU WILL HEAR A DING DONG. IF THE ICE MAKER DING A SECOND TIME THE ICE MAKER IS WORKING. AFTER I DID THE TEST I ONLY GOT ONE DING DONG. SO I DONT THINK MY ICE MAKER IS WORKING. DO YOU HAVE ANY FIXES OR ANSWERS
Answer Hello Jerry, thank you for contacting APP, I'd first make sure that the Icemaker is on at the user interface, it should show Icemaker or IM On or Off, if it is off turn it on and try testing the IM again. If the IM is On and you are only getting the first chime it is most likely that the Ice Maker AP6261444 has failed and will need to be replaced. Read More...
