Teri for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA I am very frustrated with my Samsung Washing machine. I get an error message of ND (no drain) so I replaced the drain pump with a new pump purchased from this company. I washed a load and it drained. Washed another load and I get the same error message again (nd). I basically take the machine apart to check for clogged filters or hoses. Nothing is clogged and I could not find a filter. Not sure if it could be an electrical issue, I am ready to throw is out the door but it is too heavy and I can't afford a new one or a service call. Any ideas on why my machine loves to give me an error message even though I have replaced the pump?
Answer Teri, Normally with the ND error code it can be that the unit is not draining at all, the unit senses that there is still water in the unit due to the pressure switch not resetting, the wiring of the unit having corrosion on them or the control board being faulty. The first thing to check would be the wire connections between the pump and the control board. Make sure that there is no corrosion on them. Check to make sure that the pressure hose is not clogged. You will also want to check the pressure switch to make sure that it is good and if all this checks ok then the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
