Corey May 06, 2016 for Model Number Wf328 I ran a quick test to test valve and motor and nothing responded. I also ran the run modes. The washer was working off and on but now in normal mode the drain pump just runs and never stops. It sounds like I have a bad pcb but I ran that test as well and it said good but yet none of my quick tests respond.
1 Answer Corey, Based on all the information provided this issue does sound like a main control board will be the cause of the unit not operating properly. Read More...
Bob November 11, 2015 for Model Number WF328AAR/XAA Washer is not draining when I go to service mode and push the button to test the drain motor nothing happens. But I test the motor by plugging it into a wall outlet and it runs just fine. Could the motor still be bad wires all look good.
1 Answer Hello Bob. No, if the wires are good, and there is no power to the motor, you will need to replace the control board in the unit. Read More...
Yu-Mo July 28, 2015 for Model Number WF328AAR/XAA Hello, I have two questions: Lightning strike near my house last night. Lots of things fried, the washer was one of them. I checked the board and power does get to it, but the power button is not turning on the washer. Nothing works, no displays. Am I ok to assume a new board will solve the issue? I'm seeing two references to the board. MFS-WF318A-T0 and MFS-WF318A-S0. So seems to be much cheaper for some reason. And the strange part is that the pictures I see for MFS-WF318A-T0 it does show a sticker with MFS-WF318A-S0 in front and WF318AT0 in the back. So whats going on? thank you.
1 Answer Hello Yu-Mo. You will need to order MFS-WF318A-T0 for the model number you provided according to the manufacturer. They do not list the difference but it may be programming. Read More...
Donald June 09, 2015 for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA I replaced the control board but when I attempt to run the quick tests it doesn’t progress passed the software version, which is F23A. I’m able to run through the quick test mode with the existing board which is version F236, model F23. The drain test doesn’t work but no errors are displayed, it just doesn’t start the drain motor. There are other issues we’ve seen which seem to indicate the control board which is why I ordered the replacement. The washer still doesn’t work with the replacement board which is why I tried to go through the quick test. I did clear the eprom successfully (Delay Start, Signal and Power). Thoughts on the replacement board results, not getting passed the software version when entering the quick test mode? This is pressing the Spin Key, Silver Key and Power at the same time. Thanks.
1 Answer Donald, With not being able to get past the programming mode, it sounds like the issue would be that you may have received a defective control board. Read More...
Teri July 21, 2014 for Model Number WF328AAW/XAA I am very frustrated with my Samsung Washing machine. I get an error message of ND (no drain) so I replaced the drain pump with a new pump purchased from this company. I washed a load and it drained. Washed another load and I get the same error message again (nd). I basically take the machine apart to check for clogged filters or hoses. Nothing is clogged and I could not find a filter. Not sure if it could be an electrical issue, I am ready to throw is out the door but it is too heavy and I can't afford a new one or a service call. Any ideas on why my machine loves to give me an error message even though I have replaced the pump?
1 Answer Teri, Normally with the ND error code it can be that the unit is not draining at all, the unit senses that there is still water in the unit due to the pressure switch not resetting, the wiring of the unit having corrosion on them or the control board being faulty. The first thing to check would be the wire connections between the pump and the control board. Make sure that there is no corrosion on them. Check to make sure that the pressure hose is not clogged. You will also want to check the pressure switch to make sure that it is good and if all this checks ok then the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
