Joel for Model Number RF260BEAEWW/AA My fill tube has been freezing up regularly. I am able to defrost it and get ice maker to fill for a few days. I removed the fill tube assembly and am getting 78 ohms resistance on the heater. The pins are providing ~12vDC to the heater. Would it be the heater or the control board that is the culprit here?
Answer Joel, the heater of the fill tube only operates long enough to keep the tubing warm immediately following a fill cycle.
