Nick for Model Number Samsung washer WF337AAG/XAA

Samsung washer r WF337AAG/XAA I replaced spider gear, bearing and other components seemed good. It sounds like the balance ring has fluid. There is still a out of balance issue. Where as the spin starts to ramp up it goes out of balance and shuts down. This was empty, it seems a little better when on put wet towel in. BUT, when I remove the back cover and I hold the back of the tub up and toward me snugly I can get the out of balanced better and then once it gets to about 1/2 speed it smooths out, I can release it and it spin on high or very high with very little problem. Any idea what could cause the issue just on the ramp up 1/4 to 1/2 speed spin??? Thanks Nick

Answer

Nick, Since you can hear the fluid in the balance ring, and there doesn't appear to be any cracks or damage to it, it wouldn't be the problem. Check the bottom of the base for any scrapes, dents dings, etc. Check the shock absorber shafts for any debris, rough areas, excessive wear. check and make sure all the levelling feet are solidly on the floor, the washer is level and there's no weak spots or movement in the floor/flooring. Finally, carefully place your thumbs on the tub cover/ bellows, slide your fingers inside the inner drum/spin basket and push up on the inner basket(use both hands/fingers) if the tub can be raised more than 1/8 in. the tub bearings are worn and the outer tub assembly will need to be replaced.
