Stephen for Model Number LMHM2237ST The LG model I purchased does not come with Microwave Mounting Flat Bolts to attach the microwave to the shelf above, the are round. The Installation manual shows 2 flat head bolts measuring 1/4" x 3", but they do not come in the package. Would either the GE or Samsung flat head bolts work, as I use the shelf above and the round heads are really in the way. Thank you
Answer Hello Stephan, the manufacturers do not supply the mounting bolt specs, meaning length, shaft thickness, and thread count, also these would likely be metric threads, so we would not be able to advise on compatibility between them. You could order a set and check if compatible or as a suggestion just countersink the round head screw heads below the surface of the cabinet the microwave is installed under. Read More...
