Answer Karen, You'll probably find it easier to remove the filter grill/cover from inside the drum/bulkhead(3 screws) manipulate and remove the assembly, and disconnect the sensor bar wires from the terminals, if equipped. Separate the front grill from the rear housing. The door and spring are mounted to the rear housing. Slip the center opening of the spring over the right side "peg" on the door, " flex" the door to insert the pegs into the openings of the housing, Position the spring with the straight end facing down and against the rear housing, and the bent/twisted end against the bottom side of the door/cover, so the door "flips" and sets up/closed . reverse the removal procedure and check the door and dryer operation.
