Kathy I am having some of the same issues with the ice not dispensing as some others. I do believe the 'flipper' doesn't always close causing the ice to freeze right at the drop point for the ice. Last time we used a hair dryer to defrost the frozen ice at the neck. It was tedious and very time consuming, plus not so sure about the heat on the parts.(Even though I switch from heat to cool constantly) We are unable to remove the ice housing compartment because of the ice build up in the lower 'neck' area. So had this bright idea to take everything out of the freezer and turn the freezer off so the ice can melt, but have no idea how to turn off the freezer so we can do that. Any ideas for melting the ice or turning off the freezer?
Answer Hello Kathy. Unplug the unit to turn it off. You can use a hair drier as long as you do not over heat it. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 25, 2016
