Jason for Model Number WA48J7700AW/AW Sounds like the pulsator cap issue is widespread... mine broke off, tab stuck in slot so replacement cap wont install. Tried to remove pulsator bolt with a socket wrench and the bolt head snapped right off, now Samsung wants $500+ to send 2 technicians to tear the whole unit apart. Tried drilling a hole in the bolt to use an extractor but no success. Can we replace the whole bottom plate?? Is it even worth it? Can't believe we're getting rid of a perfectly good washer because of an $8 piece of plastic and a cheap bolt.
Answer Jason, For this issue the bolt screws down into the gearcase housing and if you are unable to get the bolt out then you would need to replace DC97-15494E. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 21, 2019
