Lyrian for Model Number DG44-01002A Hello, my Samsung front right dual burner was running on high for both the inner and full element sides of the knob. I ordered this replacement part and connected the contacts the same as the previous broken regulator. It seems to work for a few seconds running at a lower temperature when set to low on either side and high and set to high on either side. Sadly it seems to click off after a few seconds as if it's reached its desired temperature but it doesn't turn back on. If I turn the knob setting up it will click back on but click back off shortly after. What could cause this? Note that the only difference between the parts I ordered and the original was an Invensys. The new one has a Robert Shaw branding on it. The part number is accurate though. It's the same.
Answer Lyrian, there is a sensor on the element itself that may be malfunctioning. You may want to check the element to make sure that there aren't any failures within the element assembly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, January 22, 2019
