For Samsung Top Burner Control For Range, Infinite Switch (Part Number: OEM13011207)

Hello Pedro, and thank you for your question. When replacing the infinite switch, it is suggested that the wires are transferred one terminal set at a time from the old switch to the new one. It is possible that there are two wires that go onto the same terminal in a piggyback configuration. Unfortunately, this model appears to be a Canadian product and technical information is not appearing in our sources.

Hello Pedro, thank you for contacting AppliancePartsPros.com It is likely this part has been redesigned and 2 wires will need to be spliced together to attach to the same terminal. Please resubmit this question with the model # of the appliance so that we may help you correctly connect this new switch.

I am trying to fit a new infinite switch into my large burner. The connector on the S2 terminal on the new part is much wider than the original, and the connector will not fit onto the terminal. I am not sure how to proceed. All other wires lined up (I did have to break apart wires that were connected together with large plastic connectors due to the rearranging of the terminals on the new piece. What can I do to fix the S2 connection to make it fit on the bigger terminal.

1 Answer

Amanda, Thank you for your question. If the terminal connector is not part of a larger connector then it would need to be changed out for the correct size terminal.

Hello Brian, thank you for your question. The dual burner would use the infinite switch DG44-01002A and the terminal labels should be the same. The wires would just need to be transferred to their corresponding terminals as labeled.

Hawk for Model Number FTQ353IWUW/XAA-00

RF burner outer burner runs hot regardless of settings. I ordered a samsung oem energy regulator switch dg44-01002a. It is a redesigned switch with 7 terminals. I have a wiring diagram for the ftq353iwuw which indicates the P1 terminal receives a red wire (L2) Several of the replies for the same problem and same switch indicate P1 should receive a double black wire ( L1 ). I have also seen answers indicating the yellow wire should go to 4a which for the surface element. It appears the yellow wire turns on the hot indicator when any burner is turned on. The question - did the functionally of the switch change, and the wires can not be transferred from old to new? I there instructions from Samsung on how to wire this modified switch correctly from Samsung to their techs? Any information you could provide me would really be appreciated. thanks, George

Hawk, There is not an instructions sheet but here is the wiring hookup according to the wiring diagram. P1 Red from L2 S2 will be blue to surface indicator light Black will go to P2 Black with brown tracer will go to S1 Violet with gray stripe will go to 4 Sky blue will go to 4a Blue to the limiter box will go to terminal 2.
