Andrew for Model Number NE595R0ABSR When baking we notice that the oven isn't cooking thoroughly. Oven will throw E-27 code randomly after cooking. I usually cycle power off using breakers in the garage to clear the code. I ordered a oven temp sensor, but will this fix the problem or is it more of a PCM board issue? Is there any way to verify the sensor and/or PCM board are working correctly?
Answer Andrew, The E 27 is a sensor error which you can test the sensor for a resistance of 1080 ohms at room temperature and if it is not correct then replace the sensor. If there is not a problem with the sensor then check the wiring between the sensor and the board. If this checks ok then check the resistance of the oven sensor connector on the board and it should be 2850 ohms and if not then would be a bad control board. Read More...
