Ron for Model Number FE710DRS/XAA The upper oven does not maintain the set temp. It gets up to temp but the heating element does not activate when the temp falls. On very rare occasion it has but for 99% of the time it does not. While baking I will check the oven temp by depressing the UPPER button followed by the FUNCTION button and then the START. The display then shows the oven temp and then the heating element will turn on to heat to the SET temp. I did an OHM test on the sensor and it reads 1080 Ohm at room temp. If the temp sensor was defective I don't think it would get to the SET temp each and every time. Thanks for your help i.n this matter, Ron
Answer Ron, Based on the reading that you are getting on the sensor at room temp then it would be ok and this would be an issue with the control board of the unit. You will want to check the wiring between the sensor and the board to make sure that it is not faulty. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, February 21, 2018
